Prior to forming this consulting
firm in 1997, Tom Dossenbach spent over 30 years in the furniture and millwork industries after
graduating from the school of engineering at N.C. State University in the Furniture Manufacturing and
Management Program. Most of his time in
industry was spent as a Plant Manager, Vice President, or General Manager with
profit and loss responsibilities. Among his accomplishments was the
improved performance of his division of a Fortune 500 Company to lead in return
on assets and inventory turns through the implementation of JIT principals and
an aggressive Continuous Improvement Program and Lean Manufacturing. Tom has served as interim CEO in a successful turnaround
assignment of a company in bankruptcy.
